About the movement
Many moons ago, life connected the three of us — Teresa, Saphira and Joshua — and our profound and meaningful journey started together. Teresa and Saphira already knew each other through mutual friends; they met Joshua at a beautiful lakeside during Spirit Base Festival, where he and Teresa fell in love.
Each of them arrived with a different relationship to fire and movement — Saphira with years of professional fire-arts experience, Joshua already on his own fire journey, and Teresa, a passionate storyteller and self-taught seamstress, stepping into movement with fresh curiosity and a fierce desire to learn.
What grew between them was more than an exchange of skills — a constant flow of inspiration and a deep bond of friendship, growing stronger together as a group.
Like a mycelial network connecting an entire forest beneath the surface, we want to grow a living network — weaving together fire arts, dance and play, stories, thoughtful messages and music. We truly believe that fire connects us — beyond language, culture and borders… because we all carry a fire within us. Sometimes it only needs a small spark to become visible.

Saphira
I’ve loved dancing for as long as I can remember. At the age of 13 I first played fire poi, and from that moment something inside me ignited — it felt like coming home. What began as a single spark has grown into a lifelong passion that keeps evolving with every performance, journey and connection. Fire has led me to festivals, medieval fairs, weddings and countless unforgettable experiences.

What started as a hobby more than ten years ago slowly grew into a big part of my life. I still remember the first time I picked up a contact staff — I fell into such a meditative state that I kept practicing, day after day. Moving with my props, especially the contact sword, contact staff and dragon staff, brings me into deep focus and calm. Lighting the props on fire connects me to my own strength and pulls me fully into the present.

For as long as I can remember, art has been my way of staying sane in this complex human life. As a child I performed in theatre and music; my curiosity led me to writing and storytelling, then to teaching myself to sew so I could bring my own characters to life. Dance and flow arts were the next natural evolution — the mesmerizing power and beauty of fire and flow cast a spell over me.
